A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Newsletter is Out!! And some gorgeous designs by Rachel

The Feb edition is now out of 'A Little Tattered' - if you subscribe it is in your email box - if you don't and would like to the detail are in the side bar! It is free, newsy and showcases products, designs and some inspiration!

Now Rachel has worked her magic with the 'Peaches and Cream' kit and I had to show you - Rachel often finds lots of ways to use the products and can make a kit really work for her in a number of ways - you could say she has been really thrifty with the kit!! There is just one left in the store - so be quick....

So using the kit 'Peaches and Cream'

Firstly a handbag
Rachel has made this into a money box that she is using for saving for the LSBS retreat in August

Another view
Rachel has used the seam binding (included in the kit) in a wonderfully interesting way

A superb card for a baby girl

And a frame

All these items from a kit costing around $8.00 .... just goes to show how much there is in a kit if you want to use it in different ways. I also love that Rachel has used the backing sheet in the card in the left hand top corner.... I put a lot of effort in making the backing sheet into pieces you can use too - they are acid and lignin free.....

So I would love to see what you get up to with the kits and don't forget the great competition in this months newsletter.....

Above all - have fun!

Lots of love
Carol
