A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Two canvases finally completed last night

Well I have finished two canvases and I am pretty pleased with them both...... they are very different though....

Lotus...... this is more gungy than normal - I used a lot of stencils and splatter for the background and I think it works pretty well..... the flowers are papers that Jess - DD, gave me and the leaves are based from the beautiful BG papers - Periphery range..... there are of course hidden surprises - keys, hinges, clocks and locks......

Entered into Canberra Show Mixed Media Section Feb 2010

The Bungle Bungles one I have had for a while and I have been really unhappy with it so last night I changed it and while it really makes a solid statement it does now 'glow' with that sunset (PS the purple in the water is actually burgundy - so the colour here is a bit off)

The formations themselves are structured with papers and photos of ancient rock paintings - there are also five words through the painting

Behind the trees are some old photos of the first Australians - there are three

Thanks for looking - I hope you like them

Cheers
C
