A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Bathing at Millaa Millaa Falls QLD

Bathing at Millaa Millaa Falls

Here is my latest work.... it is of the beautiful Millaa Millaa falls in the Atherton Tablelands in Queensland where we spent a glorious 5 days recently.... was it only a week ago that we returned home???

Anyway the falls were amazing so full and the pool beneath a wonderful green taking the colour of the foliage around it.

The bather and the deep green pool

The bather is from a very old painting by a master but adds to the scene I think.... and the foreground flowers were so bright in their contrasting pink and purple hues I decided to add them when the picture was almost finished as they really needed to be there.

Detail of the Bather and the rocks

There are 3 compasses in the picture too for a bit of interest.

The gum trees at the top of the falls - I love gum trees

It is a large canvas about 30 x 30 inches - or 77cm x 77cm. I love this and am vary happy the way it has turned out!

Thnaks for looking and please leave me a comment - I would love that!!

Love
Carol
