A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Entered the Canberra Show

Well I did it - I have entered Billabong Symphony at the Canberra Show

Billabong Symphony

I like this piece but it doesn't fit with the work I am doing for the exhibition and it really catches the eye....so it is now at the showground.

I went through the 'is it good enough' thing on Friday .... but I got over that pretty quickly - I saw other works there too and I thought mine is very different to that and different is absolutely okay.

Kristin also put in 3 framed photos so we are both doing great! Keeping my fingers crossed for Kristin and my works that we sell some and get some recognition

I am about to start on the Canberra Times Outdoor Show piece........ I have the plan and am ready to begin - I just need lots of hours now!

Cheers

I think I have found a gallery for an exhibition

As most of you know I am planning an exhibition next year and wanted to find a light and airy gallery for it

A few months ago we went to ANCA in Watson and it looked good but there were so many people at the opening there it was hard to tell....

So today we visited it again and had a chat about size , it is perfect for about 25 - 30 paintings and the light factor - plus it is white - good foil for my work

So I will put in a prospectus and see how I go...... it isn't too expensive and they don't take a commission - only drawback is that I have to arrange being there for two weeks while it is open - there goes 2 weeks of leave.

But it looks good so hopefully I will pass the initial test ..... exciting - O will let you know how I go

Here's hoping, keep your fingers crossed
