Special New Card Kits and our fabulous Guest Designers

Well hello to the 1st of July - a special date to show that we are half way through our amazing 2012. It sure has been busy!

A couple of months ago we formed our wonderful guest design team for 2012, a group of talented guest designers who volunteered to use our products and demonstrate how they can be used effectively.

July has been a busy month and we feature Sami Cronin who has filled the spot of Guest Designer for us for July! Sami's work is well known and here is a little of what she has to say:

I love scrapbooking because it combines all the things I love. My friends and family, photographs and arty fartiness. I like to call it memory art. What I scrap is the memories rather than the moments. I'm not one for scrapping a double layout on a birthday and I find it really, really hard to scrap my Christmas photos. What I love to do is to take a photo that brings back fond memories and scrap that. Something that makes me warm and fuzzy. A lot of emotion goes into my pages.

Our Guest Designers have been extremely busy with using the card kits that are now available in the shop and also their matching card pins, these are so sweet and are excatly the right size and not to bulky or heavy for your cards......... Card Kits and Card Pins

The Card kits are designed to use along with some pattered paper of your choice, perhaps a bit of ink and a sentiment or two.... basically the card kit provides the elements that make it special - the card kits even include 3 cards but you might find that you have enough over for another card or two depending on how much you like ot use on each card.

Primarily Bright is a kit which is especially for kids and teens..... Our wonderful guest designer Anna Painter has worked her magic to provide cards using this kit and has used the Off to School range of papers by Fancy Pants which works really well with the elements of this kit .

Pretty in Blue is a kit which is especially for little baby boys and lovely blue toned cards for all occaisions ...... Our beautiful guest designer Karyn Pawson has used other Tattered Inspirations goodies along with the card kit to demonstrate how cards can be built form a number of elements you might also have in your stash.

Pretty in Pink is a kit which is especially for little girls and lovely feminine inspired cards for all occaisions ...... Our lovely guest designer Amanda Montgomerie has used a number of lovely techniques on these cards to make them stand out .... such as inking around hte edges and the use of stickers and hat pins.

Victorian Lady is a kit which is especially for feminine inspired cards for all occaisions ...... but would also be lovely for a wedding card or anniversary. Our delightful guest designer Deb Clark has taken her puhches and created a very special card which is very beautiful plus used some lovely patterned paper in her stash with 2 sweet little girl cards.

Purple Haze is a kit which contains lovely elements for children and special anniversaries and of course a lovely wedding. Our lovely guest designer Michelle Sheehan has used patterned paper and lots of teh tickets and ephemera from the kits to produce some lovely and unique cards. The placement of the comic strip in the first card is such a nice touch!

Thanks to all the Guest Designers who took up the challenge to use the new card kits, sight unseen. I think that they have done an outstanding job of showcasing their amazing styles and their own versatility of the new card kits and matching hat pins. Thank you all - your work is outstanding!
