A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

sharing my Craft Room Makeover

Hi everyone..... with the Auutmn Escape around the corner it is just so exciting here - but I have also been busy with our new house......

I have a designated craft room - not a computer/craft/painting/everything else type room like I do now..... so I have been doign a makeover .... and I am loving it because it is girly (complete with chandeleir) and very very french.....I am into that at the moment too!

So here are a few pics to show you how I spent my tax check :)

Here is my gorgeous chadeleir .... love this - not too fussy just right I think :)

Here is the 'rainsong' and 'china beige' painted wall - yes masking tape and a spirit level
plus lots of patience

Love this wall - a photo and clock frame from Blue Illusion and the vintage suitcases I have collected
Plus the door knobs which were supposed to be hooks - but I couldn't resist

A quiet antique nook -love this!!
The doll, lamp and books all antique... LOVE

My gorgeous antique dresser I have had for years and cost me $5 .... I finally did it up yesterday, painted it, distressed it, then gave it a coat of beeswax and new handles - I just think it is perfect - it also now has a new piano stool to match!

A view through the window - I seriously cannot wait to create in here!!

I will be back with lots of goodies after the Autumn Escape
Lots of love
Carol

  1. Looks great! I love all things Paris, and would you believe I had a couple of vintage suitcases that belonged to my husbands family and my husband THREW them OUT! I couldn't believe it! Love the dressing table and the big window
