These hat pins are very unusual to what I have created before - the other night I spied some cloisonné beads and thought that they would make awesome hat pins!

This is what cloisonné is:
Cloisonné, French for "cell", where thin wires are applied to form raised barriers, which contain different areas of enamel applied above the original metal form. An ancient metalworking technique, it is a multi-step enamel process used to produce jewelry, vases, and other decorative items. Objects produced by this process are also called cloisonné.

Okay so these hat pins feature 5 hat pins in all - two with cloisonné beads in blues and greens and 3 other toning hat pins....
The design team girls are getting a pack of these this week - will look forward to see what they do!!
