Remember when young women used to put things away for thwir glory box.... beautiful laces, tablecloths and sheets. Pots and pans and crockery?
Well here we are - from the time when women would wonder about the future and what it held....
This lovely vintage kit takes you back down memory lane when girls and young women purchased things for their glory box, hoping that they would meet their dashing Mr Right and they would use all the collection in their new home with their lovely new hsuband.
Young women everywhere had glory boxes, full of linen with lace edging, lace, kitchen essentials, doileys, sewing things, pots and pans.It was useful, romantic, thrifty, and very important especially with war around the corner for many brides to be.
This kit contains a wonderful collection of broiderie anglaise lace, handcrafted and dyed doiley, ribbon, fabric flowers, hat pins, buttons, cabochons and printed button card, adverts and thread cards from that era. Plus of course a couple of cute rings for good measure
All you need to add is your cardstock, photos and your title and journalling - how easy is that!! Perhaps a little lace? Perhaps glimmermist the background? The layout can be as simple or as complex as you wish.....
Many of the items are vintage and are listed below with a *
So what does this vintage kit contain?
1 x Hand crafted and dyed doiley*
1 x 35cm piece of tea dyed broidery anglaise lace
2 x Hand crafted flowers from beautiful fabric by Basic Grey in pinks and Greens (made by me)

So your next heritage layout is almost done - all you need it is the photo!! This would also look fabulous as a feminine layout of any aged lady or girl...... even that lovely photo of you as a baby you always meant to scrap but never got around to it!
Having so much fun with these
Lots of love
Carol

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.
The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.
Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.
