A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Vintage Kits for Scrapbooking

Here we go --- gorgeous kits for heritage pages .... I have 7 but I have only had time to load one! I will load the others tonight..... I am really pleased how they turned out

This lovely vintage kit takes the worry out of finding the right embellishments to do those heritage layouts.

A gorgeous collection of dyed hand crafted doileys, paper doileys, hat pins, flowers, buttons and some advertisements from on old 1934 magazine. All are slightly different and unique

All you need to add is your cardstock, photos and your title and journalling - how easy is that!! Perhaps a little lace? Perhaps glimmermist the background? The layout can be aas simple or as complex as you wish.....

Many of the items are vintage and are listed below with a *

So what does this vintage kit contain?

1 x Glimmermisted doiley - green
1 x Glimmermisted doiley - stenciled burgundy
1 x Hand crafted and dyed doileys* x 2
1 x Hand crafted flower
3 x vintage buttons*
3 x hand dyed sprinke flowers*/shapes*
2 hancrafted hat pins (by me) with glass faceted beads
3 pieces of 1934 magazine ads*
1 x brass 'love heart' charm

These are all bundled up in a brown paper package tied up with string just like the old days!

My great grandparents!!
She was Queen Victoria's tailoress

So your next heritage layout is almost done - all you need it is the photo!! A sample layout is in the pictures - please feel free to copy my idea!

The paper doileys crinkle slightly when glimmermisted - if you don't like this look ...iron carefully between hankerchiefs on a wool setting - they will straighten out for you

Hope you like them

Love
C
