A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

Pretty Sweet

Sweet Babushkas

As some people probably know I am not really into the pretty girl thing for me..... I think they work really well for other artists but for me - I love landscapes and big pieces to fill a wall - and get lost in....

But I was having fun with doing a step by step here the other day with some Babushka Dolls and using mixed media techniques

With the LSBS Retreat coming up quickly for August.... I asked Cath and Nic whether I could ask people for donations for Uplift - a little organisation I collect bras for to send over the developing countries

The I thought - well how about I make up some packs of two Babushka doll kits to say thanks for peoples kind donation???

Thank you packs

I always do this - go further than I need to - but I also hope that I might see these gorgeous paper dolls popping up on cards and layouts at the retreat........

I printed off the faces (in my mixed media piece I used gesso and paint. But otherwise they are pretty similar........

Then - just because I am me and always go further than I should - I made my Artist Trading cards for the retreat with these little Babushkas

ATCs - Artist Trading Cards

Enough of the ramble....... and my bizarre addictive personality

Have a fun filled Saturday

Love
C
