A Little about Tattered Inspirations

Tattered Inspirations is a little business which aims to provide products with a vintage heart to use in your crafts - be it scrapbooking, card making or other crafty pursuits.

The Tattered Inspirations shop is here
Tattered Inspirations

Markets - we will keep you informed as we have no idea when we will be able ot go to the Old Bus Depot due to their rennovations. once I know I will pop it here :)

The business is only tiny and is not in any way out to make lots of money but rather to offer products to compliment the usual supplies available by big companies.

The Design Team Rachel Walsh, Belinda Comerford, Kathy Marchant, Daniella Tassone and Suzie Lowe creatively use the products to show people what can be done - and I treasure their input and design work immensly.

Thank you for dropping by, we aim to encourage and inspire you to do something different out of your comfort zone, in new and exciting ways.

3 new pieces to share

Well I have actually been producing but not posting - life just gets in the way of things sometimes I guess - but finally here they are.... 3 large pieces of work

This is a large piece painted from a photo I took of the beach at Broome WA
The colours are very true to life and I have used fibres as well as other mixed media items that I usually use.

I have to say I just love boab trees
This is at moon rise a cluster of boab trees
I am really happy with this piece

This large piece is of Honeymoon Bay in Tasmania
The place is over looked by these massive limestone cliffs
The bay is a beautiful aqua and the rocks an interesting terracotta colour
As a painter who could ask for more????

Thanks for looking
I am preparing for an exhibition of my paintings in 2011 and in the meantime will be entering some into art events in Canberra to get more 'known'
So I will be placing a piece into the Canberra Royal Show in January
It is interesting and a little scary at the same time

I am almost finished another piece so hopefully it wont be as long until another mixed media piece is up

Til next time
C
