Okay - tonight I was awarded a Highly Commended prize for my art at the Royal Canberra Show

Entered the Canberra Show

Well I did it - I have entered Billabong Symphony at the Canberra Show

I like this piece but it doesn't fit with the work I am doing for the exhibition and it really catches the eye....so it is now at the showground.

I went through the 'is it good enough' thing on Friday .... but I got over that pretty quickly - I saw other works there too and I thought mine is very different to that and different is absolutely okay.

Kristin also put in 3 framed photos so we are both doing great! Keeping my fingers crossed for Kristin and my works that we sell some and get some recognition

I am about to start on the Canberra Times Outdoor Show piece........ I have the plan and am ready to begin - I just need lots of hours now!

Officially I have sold 3 large paintings

Well I am pretty darn pleased with myself......And I am very happy

I have now sold 3 large paintings - and I am so happy....... I know that people like them - but I haven't had anyone ask how much they are..... so today I sold three!!

I think that makes me able to say that I have mixed media art in private collections!
